The **Occupational Safety Technician** will work within the SESMT team, identifying occupational health, safety, and hygiene risks to implement mitigation actions aimed at preventing workplace accidents, among other responsibilities inherent to this field. If this role aligns with your professional purpose, join **CAMED MICROCREDIT!** **Responsibilities and Duties** Continuously inspect workplace safety and hygiene conditions to reduce their impact on people, property, and the environment, in compliance with Regulatory Standards (NR); Carry out the required actions outlined in the department’s improvement plan to comply with current legislation; Implement activities under the Risk Management Program (PGR), safeguarding employees’ health and complying with NR-1; Identify imminent occupational and environmental accident risks to which employees are exposed, proposing necessary and feasible control measures; Conduct technical visits for safety inspections across CAMED Microcredit establishments to improve working environments and comply with applicable Regulatory Standards; Investigate accidents occurring at CAMED Microcredit to prevent recurrence; Deliver various training sessions to CAMED Microcredit employees to raise awareness regarding job-related risks; Maintain the system with relevant sector information to keep SESMT-related data records updated; Assess the need for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage by employees, per NR-6; Carry out awareness-raising, educational, and orientation activities for workers to prevent occupational accidents and diseases; Guide employees on CAMED Microcredit’s occupational safety guidelines; Notify unit or branch coordinators to assist them in correcting nonconformities identified in inspection reports; Perform other related duties as determined by the immediate supervisor; And other tasks pertinent to this area. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory Requirements:** Legal age (18 years or older); Education: Completed Occupational Safety Technician course and active registration with the respective professional council; Knowledge of: Regulatory Standards (NRs), Training Techniques, Occupational Safety Management Systems, First Aid, Risk Management, Environmental Management, Audits, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
