




Job Summary: Quality Engineering internship to develop technical and analytical competencies in process and product quality management, with a focus on production routines, failure analysis, and continuous improvement. Support in process standardization and continuous improvement The Quality Engineering internship provides the intern with opportunities to develop technical and analytical competencies focused on process and product quality management, through monitoring of production routines, failure analysis, and support in standardization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Monitoring of Sample Parts Production \-** Monitor validation parts for corrective actions; perform photographic documentation of parts under analysis throughout the manufacturing process as required by the Quality Engineering team and directed by the supervisor; route parts within the factory according to the supervisor’s instructions; direct parts disposition as defined by supervisors; learn to characterize casting defects. **Failure Analysis of Cast Parts:** Collect and process manufacturing process data directly from the production floor via observations or internal systems, per guidance from the internship supervisor; generate information, process data, and produce charts/graphs as requested by the internship supervisor.
