Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, including scanning items, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, and closing the register. Under multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning items, collecting payments, performing cash withdrawals, closing the register, and reconciling daily transactions at the end of the shift. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout by following protocols, rules, regulations, and standards—scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, checking product labels, verifying weight on scales and system correspondence, processing payments, verifying prior authorization and making proper endorsements on the back when accepting checks, and verifying authenticity of cash; Ensure cash withdrawals are performed during the shift and that the register is properly closed—counting cash, recording totals, signing and submitting reports to the supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box—to avoid accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accurate reconciliation; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and promptly informing the supervisor for follow-up; Contribute to reducing loss rates at the checkout area through preventive actions—such as minimizing plastic bag waste, preventing theft, and ensuring timely returns of perishable goods; Maintain the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request plastic bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and preparing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Support related tasks whenever necessary—including shelf stocking and checkout stand replenishment, product pricing and expiry date verification, gift wrapping, among others; Requirements **Academic qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional information:** 100% on-site position **Work location:** R.
