Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, and standards for merchandise registration and payment collection. Managed by multiple families, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures for merchandise registration and payment collection, as well as performing cash withdrawals, end-of-shift cash register closing, and reporting daily financial activity. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, standards, and procedures—scanning/weighing products, consulting code tables, verifying product labels, checking scale weight and system correspondence; processing payments; for checks, verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawal during the shift and proper cash register closing—counting cash, reconciling totals, signing reports, and submitting them to the Supervisor and/or depositing funds into a safe or 24-hour cash box—to prevent excessive exposed cash and ensure accurate financial reporting; Contribute to achieving current campaign targets by promoting available products and services, identifying missing items, and notifying the Supervisor for corrective action; Contribute to reducing front-end cash register losses through preventive measures—including minimizing bag waste, preventing theft, and promptly returning perishable items; Maintain the workstation and equipment in optimal working and clean condition; request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with packing and preparing goods for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks as needed, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand restocking, pricing, checking product expiration dates, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Education:** Completed elementary school **Additional Information:** Fully on-site position **Work Location:** Rua Bonifácio Haendchen, 1120 \- Belchior Central, Gaspar \- SC, 89110\-000 **Working Hours:** 12:50–15:00, 16:10–21:20 **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefits Shopping Benefits (in-store purchases) Life Insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
