Job Summary: Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following protocols, scanning merchandise, and processing payments. Key Highlights: 1. With multi-family management, the group operates 22 Rede TOP stores and 5 Preceiro Atacadista stores, totaling approximately 2\.000 employees, 300 checkouts, and 35\.000 m² of sales area. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for operating the cash register and serving customers, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning merchandise and processing payments; performing cash withdrawals from the register; closing the register; and submitting a final report on daily transactions. ACTIVITIES TO BE PERFORMED Ensure excellence in customer service at the checkout, following established protocols, rules, regulations, and standards; scanning/weighing products; consulting code tables; checking product labels, scale weight, and system matching; processing payments; for checks, verifying prior authorization and making appropriate notations on the back; for cash, verifying authenticity; Ensure cash withdrawals from the register during the shift and its closing, counting cash, reconciling totals, signing documentation, and delivering it to the Supervisor and/or depositing it into a safe or 24-hour cash box to prevent accumulation of exposed cash and ensure accountability; Contribute to achieving targets of ongoing campaigns by offering available products and services, identifying missing items, and reporting them to the Supervisor for action; Help reduce front-end checkout losses by proactively minimizing bag waste, potential thefts, and ensuring prompt returns of perishable items, etc. Maintain and keep the workplace and equipment in perfect working and clean condition, and request bags, receipt rolls, and other supplies as needed; Assist with sorting merchandise for home delivery when required, ensuring optimal packaging; Assist with related tasks whenever necessary, such as shelf stocking, checkout stand replenishment, pricing and expiry date verification of merchandise, gift packaging, etc. Requirements **Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education **Additional Information:** 100% in-person position **Work Location:** Rua Bonifácio Haendchen, 1120 \- Belchior Central, Gaspar \- SC, 89110\-000 **Working Hours:** 12:50–15:00, 16:10–21:20 **Benefits:** Health Insurance Dental Insurance Pharmacy Benefit Program Store Purchase Discount Program Life Insurance * Position available for persons with disabilities (PCD)
