Human Resources Consulting is hiring a Senior Data Engineer in Belo Horizonte. **What will you do in this role?:** Migrate all data transformation logic from MS SQL to AWS Glue and prepare data for consumption by business intelligence tools such as AWS QuickSight. Analyze stored procedures and existing data structures in MS SQL within the data warehouse to understand current business logic and transformation processes. Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark to replace legacy SQL-based processes. Ingest and process data from multiple sources currently stored in Amazon S3, including SAP extracts, operational system feeds, and flat files. Implement robust data validation mechanisms, error handling, and logging within Glue jobs. Collaborate with architects to define appropriate data models and schemas for the new data lakehouse architecture. Optimize Glue jobs for performance and cost efficiency. Document the new data pipelines and processes.
