Below is the description of the activities: \- Participate in meetings by contributing information, critiques, and suggestions for problem-solving and decision-making; \- Contribute to the alignment and integration of tax processes with other organizational departments, ensuring synergy and uniformity in operational routines; \- Address specific demands related to tax department projects, such as restructurings, integrations, or significant operational changes; \- Ensure compliance with requirements from Regulatory Agencies and procedures established by the institution; \- Ensure tax compliance regarding services provided and received by the institution, ensuring proper application of tax legislation; \- Be responsible for managing the processes of opening, changing, and regularizing the CNPJ (corporate tax ID) of the institution's units, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements; \- Monitor updates in tax legislation, assess their impact on institutional processes, and propose adjustments; \- Support the review and validation of tax documents (invoices for goods and services), ensuring proper application of tax legislation; \- Assist in monitoring the workflow of the tax department, proposing internal improvements, automations, and ensuring deadlines are met; \- Respond to internal and external audits and inspections by providing documents, technical clarifications, and implementing necessary corrections; \- Develop, monitor, and report performance indicators for the tax department, proposing corrective actions and improvements based on results; \- Monitor, interpret, and validate technical specifications issued by the Federation and other regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to the sector's operational reality; \- Validate the calculation of direct and indirect taxes (ISS, PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL, among others), according to current legislation; \- Prepare, review, and submit accessory obligations, such as SPED Fiscal, EFD\-Contributions, DCTF, PER/DCOMP, among others; \- Provide information to regulatory and tax authorities within established deadlines; \- Support the analysis, control, and proper utilization of tax credits; \- Organize and monitor workflow, identifying better ways to execute processes, implementing internal improvements, and prioritizing compliance with legal requirements; \- Manage the institution's tax compliance, ensuring issuance and up-to-date maintenance of Negative Debt Certificates; \- Ensure compliance with Regulatory Agencies across all areas and units of the institution; \- Validate and ensure correct submission of municipal and federal tax declarations and obligations, respecting required deadlines and formats; \- Control and renew digital certificates; \- Prepare technical presentations for Management and Directors, focusing on tax department information and indicators; \- Ensure implementation of sustainable practices established by the institution to minimize environmental impacts of operations and contribute to employee and community health and well-being; \- Foster an organizational culture promoting workplace safety to ensure team members' physical integrity in the work environment; \- Ensure good risk management practices within the institution, contributing to risk identification, assessment, treatment, monitoring, and strengthening of established internal controls; \- Act in accordance with Unimed's core competencies: cooperate to grow, pursue excellence, delight the customer, and manage emotions; \- Perform other related tasks as described above, according to workflow and under the guidance of the area leader.
