Job Mission Provide technical and operational support to users, ensuring the proper functioning of systems, equipment, and IT infrastructure. Support administrative routines, documentation, and technological process improvements, contributing to the company’s operational efficiency and information security. Main Responsibilities Technical and Operational Support Respond to and log technical tickets (hardware, software, and network). Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and peripherals. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment. Support inventory control of equipment, licenses, and IT accessories. Monitor backup routines, antivirus, and information security. Systems and Records Management Create and update user, product, customer, and supplier records in corporate systems (ERP/VM System). Support report generation for departments such as sales, finance, and accounting. Track and coordinate support requests with external system vendors and technical support providers. Infrastructure and Projects Support maintenance and improvements to network and telephony infrastructure. Assist external service providers with IT-related requests. Research and propose new equipment, software, and solutions to optimize processes. Participate in system implementation, upgrade, and integration projects. Management and Documentation Develop and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, manuals, and departmental procedures. Comply with information security policies and best practices for using technological resources. Support preparation of departmental performance reports and metrics. Quality Management System Follow Quality Management System (QMS) procedures related to the IT department. Participate in internal audits and critical review meetings. Collaborate on corrective, preventive, and continuous improvement actions. Job Requirements Education: Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. Desired Knowledge: Windows and/or Linux operating systems. Computer networks and basic infrastructure. Microsoft Office suite and corporate tools. Basic understanding of ERP systems and databases. Fundamental concepts of backup, antivirus, and information security. Experience in technical support (Help Desk / Service Desk). Experience: Prior experience in technical support or an internship in the IT field is desirable. Behavioral Competencies Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
