###### **Responsibilities and Duties**
Job Mission
Provide high-complexity patient care and support, coordinating and assisting the nursing technicians and nurses team; ensuring safety for staff, patients, and the institution; performing delegated tasks in accordance with ethical, regulatory, procedural, legal, and institutional standards, aiming to guarantee quality and safe patient care throughout the patient's entire hospital stay.
Responsibilities
Ensure safety for staff, patients, and the institution;
Monitor patient care delivered within the unit;
Select, train, and evaluate unit staff;
Organize and conduct team meetings;
Verify execution and verification of medical prescriptions;
Organize and monitor more complex examinations;
Perform and supervise nursing procedures;
Provide pre- and post-operative guidance to patients;
Monitor consumption of unit supplies;
Control use of materials for storage and pharmacy supplies consumed by the unit;
Receive shift handover together with clinical nurses;
Conduct routine visits to hospitalized patients in the unit;
Mediate patient complaints and specific needs;
Provide information and guidance to patients and companions regarding unit rules and routines;
Routine monitoring of emergency cart checks, expiration dates of containers and medications consumed by units.
Conduct and participate in training programs for staff development;
Mediate conflicts among staff and across departments;
Organize staff schedules;
Participate in multidisciplinary committees focused on patient safety.
Monitor, organize, and guide actions with bed management regarding patient flow.
Review medical prescriptions and authorize release after verifying timing and dosages;
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds;
Accompany and lead safety rounds with nurses and nursing technicians team;
Manage indicators related to UCC;
Analyze and address incident reports and patient events;
Verify prescription checks and material usage records posted to accounts.
Conduct team meetings according to agendas guiding process improvements;
