###### **Responsibilities and Duties**
Job Mission
Assist in administrative and service activities within the department, fulfilling prescriptions and dispensing materials and medications, responding to requisitions from various hospital departments, aiming to ensure accurate medication dispensing to patients while guaranteeing service efficiency and quality.
Responsibilities
Monitor refrigerator temperature for medication storage and ambient temperature, recording data in monthly control spreadsheets;
Receive logistics carriers, verify invoice items against purchase orders, discard primary packaging boxes at designated locations, inspect invoices, register invoices in the system, print barcoded labels for items based on invoice data and item verification, and store registered items;
Process automatic restocking requisitions for materials and medications across all pharmacies and warehouse requisitions, replenish bins, and deliver them;
Portion materials and medications, verifying expiration dates and batch numbers, and labeling them with system-generated barcoded labels for traceability;
Maintain direct contact with procurement staff to validate restocking information, inventory discrepancies, and product logistics in a timely manner;
Assist in training new department employees;
Participate in inventory audits and physical counts, performing item counts as per generated reports;
Check expiration dates of inventory items (materials and medications) and properly dispose of expired items;
Ensure integrity of medications and materials by storing them under appropriate conditions as required by current legislation;
Lend materials and medications to other institutions when necessary;
Perform additional duties of similar nature and complexity related to this position, as assigned.
