Job Summary: We are seeking a Yard Assistant to plan container allocation, control their movement, ensure delivery meets required standards, and train operators while monitoring processes. Operator training and process monitoring in the yard. **YARD ASSISTANT** We are looking for a **Yard Assistant** to work in **Navegantes/SC**. **Main Duties and Responsibilities:** * Identifies and plans container allocation in the yard * Controls container movement \- receipt and delivery * Ensures container delivery meets requested standards (analysis of type, size, weight, cargo, and exporter) by performing visual inspection and light test before loading * Programs temperature, humidity, and ventilation for reefer units according to customer requests (Tec Reefer) * Ensures proper positioning of containers in workshops, wash bays, Redex, etc. * Instructs forklift operators on required movements * Monitors third-party inspectors (sugar, coffee, tobacco, cellulose, rice) * Monitors coupling and uncoupling of G7 (diesel-powered generator) **Required Qualifications:** * Completed High School * Professional or technical course in Logistics is desirable Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
