Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic Senior QA to ensure the quality of React Native mobile applications, mastering test automation and collaborating with the engineering team to achieve stability and an excellent user experience. Collaborating closely with the engineering team **The Challenge** ------------- As a **Senior QA at MaisMei**, you will play a strategic role in **ensuring the quality of our mobile applications**, developed in **React Native** and distributed to **Android and iOS** via **EAS (Expo Application Services)**. We seek a professional who **masters test automation** and possesses **strong mobile development technical knowledge**, capable of working side-by-side with the engineering team—from feature conception through to app release and continuous evolution. Your focus will be on ensuring **quality, stability, performance, and an excellent user experience**, supported by well-structured, automated tests integrated into our development workflow. **Key Responsibilities** -------------------------------- * Define, implement, and evolve the **mobile test automation strategy** for applications built with **React Native**. * Develop and maintain **automated tests** (unit, integration, end\-to\-end, and regression). * Ensure quality of apps distributed via **EAS**, monitoring builds, releases, and environments. * Partner with mobile developers on **requirements analysis, solution design, and testability-focused architecture**. * Identify, report, and track bugs, acting preventively and proactively. * Validate integrations with **APIs**, contracts, and critical product flows. * Contribute to continuous improvement of **QA, engineering, and delivery processes**. * Participate in technical reviews, suggesting improvements to code, test coverage, and architecture. * Document testing strategies, test scenarios, product risks, and points of attention. **Requirements and Qualifications** ------------------------------ * **Senior-level QA experience**, with strong emphasis on **mobile test automation**. * Practical experience with **React Native**, including understanding of its architecture, component lifecycle, and API integration. * Hands-on experience with **EAS (Expo Application Services)** for builds, releases, and environments. * Experience with mobile automation tools such as: + **Maestro, Detox**, **Appium**, **Cypress**, or similar. * Solid knowledge of **JavaScript** and **TypeScript**. * Mastery of **unit, integration, end\-to\-end, regression, and functional testing** concepts. * Experience with **API consumption and validation**. * Familiarity with **Git/GitHub**. * Strong critical sense regarding **quality, performance, and usability**. * Ability to work **autonomously, strategically, and collaboratively**. **Nice-to-Haves (what we love to see)** ------------------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in technology-related fields. * Experience integrating **automated tests into CI/CD pipelines**. * Knowledge of **software engineering best practices applied to testability**. * Experience with **agile methodologies**. * Habit of **documenting processes, technical decisions, and testing strategies**. * Experience with **Figma** for validating flows and layouts. * **Intermediate/advanced English proficiency**.
