Ensures compliance with port and operational processes A container terminal is seeking a Cargo Programmer in Itajaí (Salseiros). **Responsibilities:** Distribute cargoes after the CS department completes cargo programming in the Escalasoft system and register the information in the programming spreadsheet, organizing cargoes between company-owned and third-party vehicles. Contract third parties and affiliates based on identified demands and programming, applying pre\-defined criteria to select suitable carriers. Prospect cargoes during periods of idle company-owned vehicles by analyzing daily programming schedules and informing the commercial department about availability; if no internal demand exists, seek cargoes from external partners. Provide drivers with complete programming details, including pickup slips, pickup and delivery addresses, and cargo specifications, ensuring all parties involved in the operation have accurate and clear information to execute transportation activities efficiently and safely, always prior to the start of each operation. Update port and depot systems by accessing specific systems using login credentials provided by the company, utilizing vehicle and driver data extracted from the programming spreadsheet, and recording necessary changes to enable drivers to perform container pickup or delivery, thereby ensuring compliance with port and operational processes. Previous experience as a Systems Developer, Applications Programmer, Software Engineer, or Systems Analyst may indicate affinity with some of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
