Job Summary: We are seeking an Injection Molding Machine Setup Technician to perform mold preparation, replacement, and adjustment, as well as programming and operation of injection molding machines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Work on mold preparation, replacement, and adjustment/programming of injection molding machines 2. Perform adjustments and tuning during the injection molding process and peripheral equipment operation 3. Monitor and control injection molding machines, providing support to the production area We are recruiting an Injection Molding Machine Setup Technician for one of our clients specializing in plastic injection and product development, to work in Itu/SP. Requirements: \- Prior experience as an injection molding machine setup technician, new product trial runs (try-out), and knowledge of thermoplastic resins such as PP, PE, PET, PVC, Nylon, ABS, PS, PBT. \- High school diploma or equivalent. \- Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends. \- Residency in Itu or nearby areas. Preferred Qualifications: \- Certifications in overhead cranes, injection molding machine setup, or technical/vocational training/degree in Plastics or Polymers. Responsibilities: \- Mold preparation, replacement, and adjustment; programming and operation of injection molding machines. \- Adjustments and tuning during the injection molding process and peripheral equipment operation. \- Machine setup for injection molding machines / new product trial runs (try-out). \- Control and recording of machine technical parameters; verification of tools and accessories. \- Quality standard verification of molded parts. \- Machine release after confirming all setup activities comply with process requirements and technical specifications of the part to be produced. \- Monitoring and control of injection molding machines, providing support to production staff whenever necessary. \- Cleaning and maintenance of machines and equipment. \- Preventive and corrective maintenance of injection molding machines and peripherals including grinders, dryers, feeders, cooling towers, among others, to avoid downtime caused by mechanical issues. Working Hours: Second shift Monday to Thursday (3:30 PM to 11:00 PM), Friday (3:30 PM to 8:00 PM), Saturday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
