




**Summary Description** The Optima Solutions Process Assistant is responsible for performing all activities necessary to ensure that PPG’s products and services meet the process and application parameters agreed upon with the customer, and for supporting continuous improvement activities. **Detailed Description of Responsibilities** * Ensure products meet the quality agreed upon with the customer (address product deviations) * Measure and generate reports to support decision-making (support Planning / Materials Inventory) * Analyze charts to detect variations or trends * Implement continuous improvement projects, encouraged to seek new initiatives * Monitor line issues and implement actions to eliminate them (participate in meetings) * Ensure all activities are performed safely (Measurements, Analyses, and Monitoring) * Ensure adherence to 5S principles * Support all new activities in the area and their implementation * Provide ideas to improve processes * Viscosity and pH measurement (E-Coat, Top coat); color measurement (Top coat); film thickness measurement (E-Coat, Top coat); Wave Scan measurement (Top coat); perform and document all product analyses conducted for the customer (E-Coat, Top Coat); report material status to the customer and laboratory (E-Coat, Top Coat); * Accompany the customer during audits; * Report plant consumption data to supervision; * Perform and assist, as needed, in cleaning the customer’s process (E-Coat, Top Coat); **Mandatory Requirements** * Technical and/or university degree * Must work in Juiz de Fora/MG **Desired Requirements** * Intermediate English; * Experience in the Automotive Industry, specifically in Painting Processes PPG pay ranges and benefits can vary by location which allows us to compensate employees competitively in different geographic markets.
