If you identify with our purpose, shall we together imagine a future and engineer it? **Responsibilities and duties** **Summary description:** Execute necessary actions for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Occupational Safety Management System, monitoring working conditions and identifying adverse situations through inspections and systematic application of legislation and corporate procedures, aiming to preserve employees' health and physical integrity, as well as promoting awareness for preventive actions on related topics. **Detailed description:** * Monitor the company's compliance with occupational safety laws, overseeing work areas/sides, assessing behaviors and risk agents, and guiding proper employee performance. * Prepare, organize, and conduct trainings, as well as lead DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues), Brigade Meetings, and others as needed. * Evaluate safety documentation from suppliers accessing company environments, verifying their adequacy to operational environmental configurations to prevent government penalties and ensure employee safety. * Monitor and investigate all workplace incidents/accidents, visiting the site, verifying conditions, analyzing the incident in a group setting, preparing reports, and recommending appropriate preventive and control measures. * Perform activities required by safety regulations according to planning, supporting SIPA (Internal Accident Prevention Committee) processes, simulation drills, mandatory trainings, and others, as well as inspecting safety and firefighting equipment, ensuring they are in perfect condition and functioning properly. * Monitor assessments of physical, chemical, biological, mechanical, and ergonomic agents within facilities by visiting areas, complying with legislation and ensuring employee safety. * Execute activities outlined in the PGR (Risk Management Program) and other specific area programs. * Support management in conducting critical processes within the unit, assisting in creating training maps, risk management, operational procedures, and others, focusing on health and safety aspects. * Perform assigned tasks according to received plans, under supervision and/or support from more technically experienced professionals or immediate supervisors, even if only for occasional guidance or problem resolution. Does not demonstrate full proficiency in all processes, operations, or equipment within their area, nor full productivity levels. * Assist more senior professionals in processes inherent to their field of work, leveraging their experience for self-development. * Participate in implementing departmental work plans and procedures, executing and monitoring necessary technical actions to achieve established goals and objectives. * Implement EHS guidelines to the construction team through management methodologies and tools. Ensuring field leadership participation through the following activities: * Inspect mobile equipment prior to use, ensuring compliance with EHS requirements; * Ensure contractors apply EHS tools; * Conduct safety inspections focusing on mobile equipment, safe behaviors, and PPE usage; * Lead DDS (Daily Safety Dialogues), as well as pre-task discussions analyzing potential risks; * Take preliminary action to mitigate unsafe situations and behaviors; * Develop JSAs (Job Safety Analyses) and safety procedures before starting activities; * Prepare weekly reports on construction site activities; * Monitor field activities daily; * Proactively collaborate with contractors and project leadership to promote a safety culture aligned with the company's best practices; **Requirements and qualifications** **Basic requirements you must have:** * Completed Technical Education in Occupational Safety; * Intermediate proficiency in Office Suite; * Intermediate knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems; * Advanced knowledge in assessment and identification of environmental risks. **You stand out if you have:** * Experience in EHS monitoring in civil construction projects and power plants; * Intermediate knowledge of fire fighting procedures; * Intermediate experience in providing first aid. **Additional information** **Position characteristics:** * Employment type: Regular Office (On-site) * Work location: Juruti/PA * Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 **Benefits included in the position:** * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Life insurance * Transportation * Meal allowance * Gympass partnership * Discounts and partnerships with various educational institutions * At Timenow, we believe in the power of ideas—and even more, in the ability to turn them into reality.
