Enhance the guest stay experience and resolve issues **Description:** ---------------- **About the Role:** The resort hotel receptionist is responsible for handling check\-in and check\-out, monitoring reservations, attending to guests, and providing information about hotel services and local attractions. Additionally, they process payments, resolve issues, maintain an organized front desk, and ensure an exceptional guest experience. **Responsibilities:** * Greet guests warmly, introduce oneself, and orient them regarding the hotel and its surroundings; * Process, confirm, modify, and cancel reservations; manage room availability maps; and operate hotel management systems; * Conduct guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including registration, account recording, and account closure; * Respond to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns in person, by phone, or via e\-mail; * Prepare for next-day arrivals and anticipate upcoming arrivals; * Handle room charges; maintain an organized and well-stocked department; * Coordinate with other hotel departments to meet guest needs and ensure a pleasant stay; * Enhance the guest stay experience; * Receive complaints and provide solutions through active listening and empathy; * Stay updated on hotel services to accurately answer guest questions; * Promote upselling of room upgrades, decorations, spa services, romantic dinners, and other hotel offerings; * Manage/monitor room change requests as needed; * Maintain communication with supervisors regarding departmental needs; * Possess the ability to resolve problems that may arise during a guest's stay. **Requirements:** ----------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Public Relations, or related fields (completed or in progress) preferred; * Experience in front desk/reception roles; * Strong sales orientation; * Intermediate/Advanced Spanish; * English proficiency (Intermediate) is a plus; * Customer service and/or sales training courses; * Willingness to reside in the employee housing complex \- rotating shift schedule (6 days on, 1 day off). **Benefits:** * CLT employment regime * Attractive commission based on sales * Health insurance plan * Dental insurance plan * Life insurance * Pharmacy card * Chartered bus service * Transportation allowance * Meals at the Employee Restaurant * Employee housing complex\* * Meal allowance\* * Birthday leave * Programs focused on employee appreciation and mental health
