So, does this sound like you? **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform technical repairs on metal sheets, correcting deformations, marks, dents, warping, and other defects that compromise the product's quality standards. * Address critical issues arising during the stamping process, ensuring reworked parts meet dimensional and visual specifications. * Assist in adjusting and calibrating stamping equipment when directly related to product defects. * Guide production line operators on proper handling techniques to prevent recurrence of failures. * Accurately record reworked parts, root causes, and corrective actions taken. * Strictly comply with safety, quality, and process standards. * Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to implement improvements and prevent defect recurrence. * Perform other related tasks as assigned by leadership. **Requirements and qualifications** * High school diploma completed; * Proven experience in metal sheet repair, auto bodywork, rework, and stamping; proficient in using manual and pneumatic tools; * Knowledge of manual repair techniques and specific tools (hammer, spatula, sander, adjustment tools); * Availability for on-site work in Camaçari/BA; * Technical course in Mechanical Engineering, Tooling, or related fields is desirable; * Prior experience in automotive stamping industry is desirable; **Additional information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees' well-being and continuously improve our benefits package.
