Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to perform food pre-preparation, sanitation, organization, and support the chef, adhering to best practices in food hygiene and safety. Does this describe you? **Responsibilities and Duties** Assist in food pre-preparation (washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients); Sanitize and organize utensils, countertops, equipment, and kitchen areas; Support the chef in plating dishes; Monitor and replenish basic supplies as directed by the team; Separate ingredients according to technical sheets or menus; Collect waste and maintain continuous cleanliness during and after working hours; Follow good food handling practices, ensuring personal and environmental hygiene; Adhere to instructions from the chef and head chef regarding task progress. **Requirements and Qualifications** High school diploma (completed); Previous experience in this role or in industrial kitchens, restaurants, or similar environments is desirable; Knowledge of Good Food Handling Practices, Hygiene, and Food Safety is desirable; Availability for on-site work in Camaçari/BA. **Additional Information** At BYD, we prioritize our employees’ well-being and continuously strive to enhance our benefits package.
