Focuses on safety, quality, and productivity The **Electromechanical Technician** position at MUSTAD Brasil is responsible for performing maintenance activities in the electrical, mechanical, and automation specialties of industrial machines and equipment, ensuring full functionality and reliability of plant assets. Performs preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, contributing to operational continuity with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to identify failures, process improvements, and optimization of maintenance resources. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on industrial machines and equipment under supervision, such as pumps, eccentric presses, overhead cranes, induction furnaces, compressors, conveyors, transporters, gearboxes, and other complex mechanical systems. * Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in production systems using measurement and diagnostic tools, following established standards and procedures. * Read, interpret, and apply mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic diagrams, as well as operation manuals and technical drawings. * Perform lubrication, adjustments, and calibrations on mechanical and electrical components according to defined plans and procedures. * Support and participate in the installation, assembly, and commissioning of new industrial equipment, ensuring technical compliance and operational safety. * Execute Planned Maintenance (PM) activities in electrical and mechanical specialties (preventive, predictive, and corrective), as per the established plan. * Ensure proper execution of electrical, mechanical, and lubrication inspection plans, in accordance with MPS guidelines. * Support Autonomous Maintenance (AM) pillar activities by guiding operators on basic visual inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment preservation. * Identify and diagnose recurring electrical and mechanical failures, contributing to root cause analysis and action plans. * Perform alignment of rotating equipment using analog and laser methods. * Apply welding and metal cutting techniques in accordance with quality standards and regulations. * Possess knowledge and apply industrial component lubrication techniques, as well as non-destructive testing methods (liquid penetrant, ultrasonic) where applicable. * Maintain detailed records of performed maintenance activities, ensuring traceability and compliance with the Integrated Management System. * Comply with and enforce applicable safety regulations, including NR6, NR10, NR12, NR13, NR35, and other relevant legislation. * Propose continuous improvements to electrical, mechanical, and automation systems aiming to increase reliability and reduce operational costs. * Ensure workplace organization and cleanliness in accordance with the 5S pillar guidelines, proposing improvements to eliminate sources of dirt and hard-to-reach areas. * Comply with and enforce all requirements associated with the position within the Integrated Management System (IMS). * Participate in and support scheduled shutdowns and emergency repairs, ensuring adherence to deadlines and intervention efficiency. * Contribute to production process optimization by performing equipment and system adjustments and minor improvements. * Participate in technical training programs and safety training, seeking continuous improvement. * Propose improvements for elimination/reduction of sources of dirt and/or hard-to-reach areas. **Education, Specific Knowledge, and Certifications:** * Completed Technical Education in Electromechanics or Mechatronics issued by a recognized institution; * Certification or training in NR10, NR12, NR13, and NR35 standards is desirable; * Additional certifications are desirable: overhead crane operation, forklift operation, and aerial work platform operation; * Solid technical knowledge in industrial electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, electrical control systems, metrology, diagram reading and interpretation, and predictive maintenance; * Basic computer proficiency, including Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and maintenance management software (CMMS); **Desired Skills / Attributes and Experience:** * Professional experience: 1 to 3 years proven in industrial maintenance; * Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams; * Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical failures using measurement instruments and failure analysis tools; * Knowledge of predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance systems, including interpretation of indicators and maintenance plans (MPS, AM); * Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, maintaining a collaborative attitude and results orientation; * Proactivity, sense of responsibility, organization, and adherence to safety and 5S practices. **Working Hours:** Availability to work morning, afternoon, and night shifts. **Benefits Offered:** Family Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Group Life Insurance, Transportation Allowance or Chartered Bus (no payroll deduction), Parking, Meal Card, Profit Sharing Program (PPR), Total Pass, Running Support Policy, Employee Assistance Program, Psychological Assistance Program, “Harvesting Differences” Program – for atypical families.
