Responsibilities and duties * Interpret structural designs and technical drawings, identifying the characteristics of reinforcements (bar diameter, spacing, overlaps, gauges, types of steel, and tying methods); * Select and prepare steel according to specifications; * Assemble reinforcements for columns, beams, slabs, blocks, footings, piles, ties, and other structures, following technical standards and project details; * Tie rebars with annealed wire or use welding when specified; * Place spacers (chairs, separators, support blocks) to maintain concrete cover as required by design and standards; * Position reinforcements correctly within forms before concreting, ensuring alignment and minimum concrete cover; * Inspect reinforcements before concreting, ensuring they are clean (free from oil or dirt) and securely fastened to prevent displacement; * Make adjustments and corrections as needed, including repairs to misaligned, bent, or damaged rebars; * Safely use manual and electric tools such as benders, cutting shears, pliers, grinders, and rebar workbenches; * Comply with occupational safety regulations, wearing required PPE (hard hat, gloves, goggles, boots, safety harness) and adhering to NR-18 rules; * Perform other tasks inherent to the role. Working Hours: Weekly workload of 44 hours, Monday to Thursday from 6:45 AM to 4:45 PM and Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:45 PM Work Location: Campus Quinta do Paraíso, Estr.
