Job Summary: Lead the pharmacy team, ensuring quality standards, efficiency in medication dispensing, and regulatory compliance; manage inventory and promote professional development. Interdisciplinary collaboration and policy development Lead the pharmacy team, ensuring all activities are performed according to established standards, planning and delegating daily tasks to the team, and guaranteeing efficiency and accuracy in medication dispensing, Assist in managing pharmaceutical inventory and products, ensuring continuous availability and proper storage. Monitor medication dispensing to ensure accuracy and safety in delivery to patients; participate in implementing and monitoring quality control programs to ensure medication safety and efficacy. Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with health, safety, and pharmacy-specific regulations; support preparation for audits and regulatory inspections; provide required documentation; and implement recommended corrective actions. Participate in periodic inventories to ensure inventory record accuracy; contribute to logistical coordination of receipt, storage, and distribution of medications and pharmaceutical products. Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to provide information and guidance on the safe and effective use of medications; participate in clinical committees and meetings; contribute pharmaceutical expertise to clinical decision-making. Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures for pharmacy operations, aiming for continuous service improvement; stay updated on changes in regulations and pharmaceutical practices; and adjust internal policies as necessary. Organize and conduct training sessions for the pharmacy team on best practices in pharmacology and medication use, promoting continuous professional development of the team. Remain available to respond to pharmacy-related emergencies outside regular working hours, ensuring rapid resolution of critical issues; coordinate the team during emergency situations; and ensure an efficient and safe response. Monitor medication errors and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence; participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Comply with and enforce internal regulations, health, hygiene, and occupational safety procedures inherent to the department, as well as observe and comply with applicable compliance requirements and company-related regulations.
