Description
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide in-person and telephone reception for doctors and clients;
* Identify clients;
* Provide requested information to clients;
* Register clients and complete their service records, reviewing them after each shift;
* Direct clients to their designated departments;
* Admit patients; notify the physician/nursing staff;
* Inform clients about facility rules, procedures, and the fee schedule for services provided;
* Manage client departures, performing procedures defined by the facility;
* Monitor patient flow, triaging according to required procedures;
* Request authorization for emergency care, exams, and procedures from health insurance providers;
* Print health insurance provider authorization forms as needed;
* Organize service records, attach exam results to the records, and forward them to pre-billing;
* Monitor discharge records and requests in the Regulation System (SISREG and SER), forwarding authorized AIHs to billing;
* Search for transfers per medical request for SUS and non-SUS patients;
* Deliver documentation to inpatient units with protocol after transfer/exam regulation, attaching process completion to the medical record;
* Request ambulances from Municipal Health Secretariats via email for transfers and hospital discharges;
* Participate in surgical scheduling meetings to monitor elective surgeries and perform pre-admissions;
* Manage and report bed availability for urgent admissions for SUS and non-SUS patients;
* Answer the central telephone line during hours when no receptionist is scheduled;
* Receive payments and close the cash flow during hours when the treasury department is not operational;
* Schedule appointments and exams, including authorizations in the Regulation System;
* Deliver exam results;
* Record any abnormalities occurring in the department in the incident logbook;
* Hand over the shift to the next team, reporting all events that occurred and transferring the cash closure to the treasury department.

Work schedule: 12x36 (work one day, rest the next)
