Serve as the interface between the customer and GE. **Job Description Summary** =========================== **Job Description** =================== **Roles and Responsibilities** * Collaborate with external engineers and customers to define the appropriate engine maintenance scope, participate in root cause investigations for engine removals, and ensure implementation of improvements that enhance engine time-on-wing. * Support and oversee the production process, including associated tools and equipment. Validate manufacturer specifications / customer requirements and their technical compliance by the factory floor. * Design technology integration initiatives and implement new products, processes, tools, or equipment on the factory floor. * Develop and deliver theoretical/conceptual knowledge related to technical disciplines involved in the processes. * Resolve problems using established procedures. Consult internal team members and/or more senior external team members regarding issues outside defined parameters/instructions. * Provide technical support to the production team on technical matters. * Build strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between the customer and GE. * Personal ability to work across different shifts depending on operational demands and project needs. **Required Qualifications** * This position requires experience in aircraft engine maintenance. Completed academic degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aeronautical Engineering. * Fluent English is mandatory. * Engineering degree with active CREA registration. * Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma; practical experience is desirable. * Willingness to work in the city of Três Rios. **Desired Characteristics** * Strong oral and written communication skills in both Portuguese and English. * Interpersonal skills applicable across all organizational levels and within high-pressure production environments. * Ability to work independently with proven results in project management.
