Treat patients for prevention, habilitation, and rehabilitation, using specific speech-language pathology protocols and procedures, safeguarding their well-being and ensuring health promotion. **Responsibilities and duties** * Welcome and assess individuals presenting with neuropsychomotor developmental disorders and/or other types of disabilities, designing and applying techniques and strategies to compensate for communicative deficits—such as the use of visual aids—to foster interaction between thought and language and to expand comprehension abilities, where visual imagery serves as a generator of communication; * Participate in multidisciplinary teams for diagnosis and intervention regarding difficulties presented by referred patients; * Provide guidance and support to patients’ families and caregivers to facilitate generalization of skills learned in the therapeutic setting to daily life; * Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient’s specific needs; * Apply speech-language pathology procedures: prescribe activities, prepare therapeutic materials, recommend and adapt assistive technology, introduce alternative communication methods, refine facial patterns, communicative skills, and voice, stimulate treatment adherence and continuity, and redirect therapeutic approaches; * Meet with other professionals to develop and implement therapeutic programs and support specific groups; * Monitor patient progress over time, adjusting the therapeutic plan according to patient needs and evaluating achieved outcomes. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with active registration at CREFONO. * Experience working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). * Preferred qualifications: Postgraduate specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Child Development, or related fields; Postgraduate specialization in Psychopedagogy. * Minimum proven experience of at least six months with the protocols and approaches to be used—for example: ABA practitioner, VB-MAPP, TEACCH, PECS, AAC, among others; * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency. **Additional information** * Medical assistance; * Dental assistance; * Meal card; * Transportation allowance.
