Control fermentation, shaping, and proofing of doughs. Bake breads according to restaurant standards. Produce daily service items (appetizers, coffee, accompaniments). Control product quality, flavor, and presentation. Organize and sanitize utensils and equipment. Monitor ingredient expiration dates and storage conditions. Support new product development when required. Follow food hygiene and safety regulations. Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Assistant Baker, Bakery Chef, or Oven Operator may indicate suitability for some of the duties associated with this position. High school diploma required.
