




Job Summary: Operate telephone equipment to provide efficient and courteous communication services, including answering, transferring, and recording local and national calls in a customer service environment. Interdepartmental communication and patient guidance Operate telephone equipment by answering, transferring, registering, or completing local or national telephone calls, communicating formally in Portuguese, assisting the caller, providing information, and delivering general communication services, ensuring efficient and courteous communication while contributing to the smooth operation of customer service activities at the Facilities. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Answer telephone calls promptly and professionally, transferring calls to appropriate departments or individuals, and accurately taking and relaying messages. * Operate telephone equipment to deliver services, complete local and national calls, transfer calls, fill out control spreadsheets, and provide information to callers by consulting information terminals or searching databases for telephone number updates. * Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing calls by entering relevant information into call management systems or spreadsheets. * Provide general hospital information, including visiting hours, department locations, and other available services, as well as guiding patients and visitors on basic hospital procedures. * Facilitate interdepartmental communication across Facilities by sending notifications or urgent messages whenever necessary. * Ensure telephone equipment remains in good working condition, reporting any technical issues to responsible or maintenance departments. * Strictly adhere to safety regulations and procedures for handling telephone and communication equipment and components, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and proper disposal of waste generated in the work area. * Maintain organization of equipment and materials used in the department, keeping them orderly and stored in designated locations to facilitate access for other department staff. * Comply with internal regulations, health, hygiene, and occupational safety procedures inherent to the department, as well as compliance requirements, observations, and applicable corporate regulations. * Perform other duties inherent to the position or as directed by the immediate supervisor, provided the employee is qualified and such duties align with their knowledge and experience. Completed High School education; additional training in customer service or telephony is a plus.
