




Job Summary: We are seeking an Import Manager to lead strategic processes, coordinate teams, and ensure legal compliance in retail. Key Highlights: 1. We are looking for a professional to join our strategic department as an **Import Manager**. If you identify with our company and meet the requested \-prerequisites, JOIN OUR TEAM! \#VEMPRANALIN **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage import schedules aligned with the collection calendar (drops, launches, and seasonality); * Select product mix together with the Purchasing department; * Collaborate closely with Planning, Tax, Finance, Purchasing, and Logistics departments; * Manage and monitor the entire import process, from international negotiation to final product delivery; * Conduct daily follow\-up with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers; * Plan and monitor production timelines, shipping (air, sea, and road), transit, and customs clearance; * Monitor performance indicators (OTIF, lead time, cost per shipment, stockouts, and delays); * Ensure compliance with current customs, tax, and foreign exchange regulations; * Coordinate the work of customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and international suppliers; * Negotiate freight, international insurance, and logistics costs; * Control costs and track performance indicators; * Analyze and define special customs regimes where applicable; * Prevent and resolve operational issues, delays, or non\-conformities; * Prepare management reports and present results to senior management; * Identify operational risks and propose contingency plans; * Monitor international market trends, trade agreements, and foreign exchange impacts on the business; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Bachelor’s degree (International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, International Relations, or related fields); * Solid import experience (2+ years), preferably in fashion or retail; * Experience in international negotiation and working with freight forwarders and customs brokers; * Operational knowledge of customs legislation and customs clearance procedures; * Intermediate to advanced English proficiency; * Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; **Additional Information** * Transportation allowance (6% deduction as per standard CLT terms); * Health and dental insurance (offered after probation period); * Meal allowance or food voucher (upon joining, you may choose one; the company provides R$ 20.00 per working day); * Group life insurance; * 10% in\-store discount.
