




The Nutrition Technician is responsible for carrying out operational and monitoring tasks to ensure food quality and safety, under the supervision of a nutritionist. Duties include inventory and quality control, guiding staff in meal production, enforcing food hygiene and safety regulations, and assisting in nutritional education activities. Main responsibilities * **Process management:** * Monitor and guide the team in meal preparation and adherence to culinary procedures. * Control the receipt, storage, and distribution of food items. * Ensure food quality and safety throughout all processes. * **Quality and hygiene control:** * Monitor compliance with food hygiene and safety standards. * Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of equipment and work areas. * Participate in quality control and implementation of good practice manuals. * **Administrative and monitoring tasks:** * Collect data for reports and control charts related to diets and meals. * Assist in organizing files and documents. * Maintain cleaning schedules and complete relevant records for the area. * **Interaction and guidance:** * Instruct donors on hygiene practices and support human milk collection activities in milk banks. * Collect feedback on meal acceptance from patients and staff. * Assist in conducting dietary and nutritional education activities for individuals and communities, according to the nutritionist's guidelines.
