Perform alterations and repairs on finished garments A clothing store in Pelotas (Downtown) seeks a Cutting and Sewing Assistant. **Responsibilities:** Assist in cutting fabrics according to patterns and specified measurements. Prepare fabric pieces for sewing, including marking, basting, and ironing. Assist in assembling and sewing garments, following instructions from the designer or tailor. Perform alterations and repairs on finished garments, such as hemming, tightening, or loosening garments. Previous experience as a Cutting and Sewing Assistant, Patternmaking Assistant, Sewing Machine Operator, or Assistant Tailor may indicate familiarity with some of the tasks associated with this position. High school diploma required.
