Job Summary: Work as a Java Developer on a financial digital transformation project, developing and maintaining tools, providing technical support, and actively collaborating with the team. Diverse and innovative team **What will we build together?** In this project, we will jointly drive digital transformation in a financial initiative. Our team focuses on proposing optimal solutions grounded in technical excellence, considering alternatives that deliver value, guided by an agile mindset and a collaborative culture. We respect diversity and believe that diverse teams contribute to generating more innovative ideas. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and maintain Java tools and frameworks used by other development teams, ensuring quality, scalability, and reusability; * Provide technical support to the team in using these tools, promoting best practices and resolving issues; * Create, maintain, and evolve foundational routines and components upon which the company's applications operate; * Proactively investigate and explore system failures, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, proposing technical solutions and continuous enhancements; * Actively collaborate with the team by participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and supporting the squad’s technical growth. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Experience with **Java 8 or later**; * Proficiency in **object-oriented programming** and **design patterns**; * Experience with **SQL queries** and **database modeling**; * Knowledge of **Gradle** for dependency and build process management; * Ability to work **autonomously**, collaborating with the team and technically supporting other developers. * Completed undergraduate degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Technology**, or related fields. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with **Spring / Spring Boot** for application and API development and maintenance; * Experience with **JPA / Hibernate**; * Hands-on experience with **Git-based source code versioning**; * Experience with **unit testing** (JUnit, Mockito, or similar). **Additional Information** **Here’s what you’ll get:** * iFood Card (meal and food allowance); * Cost-of-living allowance; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Birthday day off; * Life insurance; * Extended maternity and paternity leave; * Educational partnerships; * Total Pass partnership – health and wellness; * Clude Saúde partnership; * Reimbursement programs; * Flexible working hours; * Dress code: be yourself. **About DB** We are a software house delivering custom-built solutions.
