Engineering Assistant

Description

Job Summary: Technical professional responsible for designing, drafting, and coordinating products, materials, and packaging; preparing documentation; and supporting production, sales, and customers. Key Highlights: 1. Project coordination from design to manufacturing 2. On-site technical support and support to sales/purchasing/quality departments 3. Development of programs for CNC machines Responsibilities: Design and draft products/materials/packaging based on information received from customers; Create and register bill-of-materials structures in the ERP system; Prepare process documentation for manufacturing; Support production during design and manufacturing phases; Develop programs for CNC machines; Coordinate and implement projects from the design phase through manufacturing; Support production in the development and creation of fixtures; Maintain contact with customers and suppliers; Provide technical support to Sales/Purchasing/Quality departments; Provide on-site technical assistance. Requirements: **Education:** Mechanical Technician (High School level / SENAI). Drawing interpretation. Knowledge of machine elements and materials. Product drawing preparation using AutoCAD 2D and 3D/SolidWorks. **Computer Skills:** Office 365. ERP knowledge (product structure). Basic knowledge of machine tool programming. **Languages:** Fluent English; Spanish desirable. Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organization and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a team. Proactivity and dynamism.
