We’re waiting for your application! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Academic Counseling: Assist students in setting academic goals; support coordination in monitoring students’ academic performance; identify areas for improvement. * Socioemotional Development Support: Provide individual or group counseling to address social and emotional issues. * Career Guidance: Organize events, lectures, and activities to inform students about educational and career opportunities. * Collaboration with Teachers and Parents: Collaborate with teachers to identify and support students with specific needs (IEP) \| Communicate with parents to share information regarding students’ behavioral progress \| Participate in team meetings and offer suggestions to improve the school environment. * Conflict Mediation: Intervene and mediate conflicts among students, teachers, or parents. * Promotion of a Positive School Environment: Develop programs and initiatives to foster an inclusive and positive school environment \| Collaborate in implementing anti-bullying practices and promoting mutual respect. * Professional Development: Participate in trainings and workshops to stay updated on best practices in educational counseling. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (specialization is a plus); * Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy with specialization in: Neuropsychopedagogy, Psychopedagogy, Educational Guidance, or related fields; * Experience in School Psychology; * Prior experience as an Educational Counselor; * Proficiency in strategies that support learning and harmonious coexistence; * Insight into topics and needs of neurodiverse populations or those served by inclusive special education (AEE); * Ability to mediate conflicts and solve problems using techniques derived from Psychology; * Knowledge of implementing socioemotional education projects; * Monitoring of students’ daily routines and academic development; * Conducting thematic interventions and workshops as needed. **Additional Information** * Availability to work onsite at Colégio Objetivo in São José dos Campos.
