We're addressing the global challenges of ending plastic waste, taking climate action, and supporting a thriving society, while generating value for our customers, investors, and society. **Basic Function** ------------------ Manage teams and activities related to Capex programs and the plant’s electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, and instrumentation maintenance plan, as well as manage contracted companies executing services in these activity areas—adhering to all corporate procedures, maintenance plans and programs, and applying Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Conservation (SSCA\&Q) best practices required by national legislation and LyondellBasell’s Operational Excellence Program—to achieve company goals and enable continuous improvement in processes across the industrial unit and related warehouses. **Roles \& Responsibilities** ----------------------------- * Serve as a key member of local leadership to drive performance across areas under your responsibility—including contractors and support functions—by developing the "CAPEX LRP" plan and assisting in preparation of the annual preventive and predictive maintenance plan, and further managing and executing plant investments and maintenance. * Promote benchmarking and challenge the "status quo" to inspire and identify improvement opportunities—including leading initiatives and efforts with teams—using dialogue and coaching processes, and ensuring team capability development focused on establishing new performance, profitability, and safety benchmarks for areas under your responsibility and interfacing areas; identifying technical team enhancement needs and facilitating internal or external training. * Serve as an integrated member of corporate teams responsible for plant processes (SPO – Site Process Owners). * Ensure adherence to general corporate principles and company policies across all areas under your responsibility. * Work proactively to minimize operational costs, reduce losses, and increase plant operational efficiency—ensuring rapid responses to process area needs—by acting proactively to gather information and executing and/or leading internal or contracted teams, whether during normal operations or industrial unit shutdowns, to achieve company reliability objectives. * Contribute to maintaining certifications and ensure compliance with procedures and practices within the Integrated Management System, Quality, and SSCA (Safety, Health, and Environmental Conservation)—IATF 16949; ISO 9001; ISO 14\.001; ISO 45\.001\—through execution of preventive maintenance plans and scheduled maintenance activities, including proper cost allocation, technical reporting, pre-task planning, and risk analysis (Task Hazard Analysis). * Ensure intervention quality through prior review of maintenance procedures and equipment manufacturer manuals, leveraging experience, historical records, and project documentation—and engaging specialized services when necessary. * Contribute to increased equipment availability through control and analysis of work orders and via predictive and preventive maintenance interventions, proposing equipment or process improvements, refining maintenance techniques, and analyzing results from preventive interventions. * Contribute to continuous unit improvement through control, analysis, and execution of engineering changes—and ensuring “as-built” project documentation accuracy—by developing or revising maintenance and/or calibration procedures for newly installed or replaced equipment, and incorporating such equipment into maintenance plans. * Manage spare parts inventory to maintain plant reliability through parts availability; support the Materials and Maintenance Spares Procurement department by preparing REMs (Material Stock Recommendations), identifying alternative materials to promote localization of imported materials, issuing electronic material requisitions, initiating purchase requests, and recovering/returning reusable items from inventory. **Min. Qualifications** ----------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology—Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation fields. * Experience managing maintenance teams. * Knowledge of regulations, standards, and international norms applicable to Quality (ISO 9001, IATF 16949\). * Familiarity with core tools (Control Plan, FMEA, SPC, MASP, MSA). * Knowledge of regulations, standards, and international norms applicable to Health, Safety, and Environment (interpretation of ISO 14\.001 and 45001\). * Knowledge of industrial electro-electronic, mechanical, and instrumentation maintenance; low- and medium-voltage circuit breaker maintenance; maintenance of electronic or microprocessor-based protective relays; AC/DC motor maintenance; emergency generator maintenance; frequency inverters; soft starters; AC/DC drives; and transformers—electrical. * Knowledge of project management. * Knowledge of maintenance routines/planning supported by computerized systems. * Knowledge of extrusion production systems and associated auxiliary process equipment. * Basic knowledge of PLC, DCS, and dedicated system programming/intervention. * Ability to solve problems under crisis and pressure conditions. **Preferred Qualifications** ---------------------------- * Experience with bagging systems (baggers, palletizers, and stretch wrappers). * ERP Datasul knowledge. * Advanced/fluent English.
