Acting as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring clarity and consistency Senior Analytics Engineer to work on the creation and evolution of analytical data products, with strong emphasis on discovery, deep business understanding, and development of analytical and semantic models in a Databricks environment. The professional will be responsible for structuring data ready for analytical consumption, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with business rules, acting as a bridge between business and technology. **Responsibilities** Discovery and business understanding Conduct analytical discovery activities, collaborating with business areas to understand processes, needs, metrics, and KPIs Translate business problems into clear, structured analytical requirements Support business users in defining and validating KPIs, metrics, and calculation rules Development of analytical products Develop analytical data products in a Databricks environment, using Apache Spark (SQL and Python) and the Lakeflow Spark Declarative Pipelines (SDP) framework Build analytical and semantic models ready for consumption by BI and Analytics tools Develop complex data processing logic, ensuring correctness, integrity, and efficiency Ensure consistency, reusability, and standardization of corporate metrics Apply advanced BI concepts, including dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and analytical governance Validate models and data using consumption tools (e.g., Power BI), both exploratorily and functionally Handoff and documentation for industrialization Document and perform structured handoff of data products to the team responsible for data industrialization.
