Diagnose failures quickly and accurately, taking appropriate actions to solve them efficiently, minimizing equipment downtime. Work on analyzing and improving maintenance processes, seeking optimizations and innovations that contribute to operational reliability. Monitor the installation of new equipment, performing necessary tests and adjustments to ensure proper integration with existing systems. Actively participate in maintenance-related projects, offering specialized insights and collaborating in strategic decision-making that directly impacts overall operational efficiency.** **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform systematic and planned inspections, identifying and resolving corrective, mechanical, and electrical maintenance issues in industrial equipment and machinery; * Diagnose faults, assess damages, and perform repairs efficiently and accurately, applying specialized technical knowledge; * Carry out necessary adjustments, lubrications, part replacements, calibrations, and alignments to ensure optimal equipment performance; * Conduct operation and safety tests after maintenance interventions; * Actively contribute to the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, suggesting improvements in processes and maintenance practices; * Accurately document performed interventions, parts used, downtime durations, and other relevant information in maintenance management systems; * Identify opportunities for resource optimization, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency; * Collaborate in the evaluation and qualification of spare parts and maintenance service suppliers; * Follow established safety regulations, operational procedures, and quality standards; * Know emergency instructions, locations of exits, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations, and spill containment kits; * Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, including emergency procedures. * Be aware of environmental aspects, health and safety hazards, emergency scenarios, operational control measures, and actions to be taken in emergencies. **Requirements and qualifications** * Education: Technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Automation, or related fields (Mandatory); * Knowledge of safety regulations applicable to maintenance activities; * **Technical Skills:** Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics. * Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-electronic systems. * Familiarity with measurement and adjustment tools (calipers, multimeters, gauges). * **Skills:** Rapid and accurate fault diagnosis. * Organization and documentation of information in computerized systems. * Teamwork and clear technical communication. * **Certifications:** * NR\-10 Safety in Electrical Installations and Services (mandatory) * NR 12 Certificate for Safety in Machinery and Equipment (mandatory) * NR\-35 Working at Heights (desirable) * NR\-33 Safety and Health in Confined Spaces (desirable) * Predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, or industrial lubrication courses (desirable) * **Differentiators****: * Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS). * Knowledge of industrial automation and PLCs. * **Residence in Sorocaba and/or Votorantim** * Schedule: Business hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:48 **(Availability to work shifts and overtime as required by operations)**. * **For employees: Minimum of 90 days of active employment with the company**. **Desired experiences**: * Proven experience in industrial maintenance (mechanical and electrical). * Experience in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. * Prior work in industrial environments with highly complex machinery. * Experience in failure analysis and process improvement. **Additional information** **Benefits:** Medical insurance (Unimed).
