




Description: Minimum Requirements: * Completed high school education; * Vocational welding course with certification; * Proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); * Knowledge of welding processes (TIG, MIG, MAG, and electric arc welding); * Familiarity with various base metals to be welded and welding consumables (electrodes, filler rods, etc.); Desirable Requirements: * Knowledge of injection welding; * Knowledge of metalworking/fabrication. The Welder performs activities such as: * Preparing metallic parts, equipment, surfaces, pipelines, etc., according to instructions or work orders, verifying drawings or specifications (when necessary), and selecting the appropriate welding type or process; * Selecting required resources (welding machines, torches, gases, etc.), and adjusting welding and cutting parameters per work instructions; * Performing welding processes (electric arc, oxy-acetylene, or others), controlling welding speed through movements in one or more positions (vertical or horizontal) to join or cut parts, surfaces, and components; * Performing final finishing on welded material by filing, grinding, or sanding worked areas to remove burrs and imperfections; * Performing general welding services on parts and equipment using specialized equipment and carrying out finishing operations when required (e.g., sanding, grinding, polishing, etc.), with knowledge of applicable materials and adherence to safety requirements; * Maintaining order and cleanliness at the workplace, including tools, machinery, and equipment used in the job, and requesting replacement or repair when necessary; * Requesting required materials from the responsible person for service execution; * Conducting periodic inspections of used equipment to verify proper operation and requesting necessary maintenance; * Performing cutting and welding services alongside third-party contractors hired by the company for large-scale construction or maintenance projects, as directed. 2512070202191396830
