We are looking for a **Toolmaker** to perform plastic injection mold maintenance at our plant in São Leopoldo/RS. We seek a professional with solid experience in corrective and preventive mold maintenance, especially in hot runner systems, ensuring reliability, availability, and performance of tooling used in the production process. **Responsibilities and duties** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plastic injection molds, focusing on adjustment, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly. * Carry out complete disassembly of molds for diagnosis and correction of mechanical and dimensional failures. * Perform maintenance on hot runner systems, including inspection of heaters, connections, insulators, and electrical components. * Conduct wear analysis and recommend improvement actions to extend mold service life. * Ensure perfect alignment, lubrication, and mechanical operation of tooling components. * Provide technical support to production regarding mold performance issues. **Requirements and qualifications** * High school diploma. * Technical training in Tooling, Mechanical Engineering, Plastics, or related fields. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastic injection mold maintenance. * Practical experience with hot runner systems (diagnosis, maintenance, cleaning, and heater replacement). * Flexible working hours. **Additional information** * Profit sharing linked to the company's financial results. * Unimed medical insurance coverage extended to dependents.
