**Description:** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related fields; Advanced English proficiency is considered a plus; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience leading teams in industrial maintenance; Proven experience implementing TPM methodology is mandatory; Willingness to reside in Saquarema/MG or nearby regions. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** Drive improvements in maintenance plans and execution processes by coordinating mechanical, electrical, electronic, and building maintenance activities while maintaining continuous interface with internal customers; Enhance reliability performance indicators through optimization of manpower, resource availability, and planning of all maintenance actions; Propose energy-saving measures to reduce electricity consumption; improve utility performance indicators; support technical and leadership teams in compliance with NR10 and NR13 regulations; ensure implementation of preventive maintenance plans for substations and boilers; and support teams during utility shutdowns and re-energizations involving cuts by service providers (gas and electricity), enforcing Smurfit Westrock safety measures and NR regulations; Ensure asset preservation by aligning internal and external standards, manufacturers’ technical information, and industry best practices; Promote technological updates and market trends, contributing to the unit’s strategic planning and implementation of operational excellence initiatives; Report and act upon any unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, or incidents regardless of severity; Ensure profitability through effective maintenance cost management; Ensure the team correctly applies Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures on machines during interventions using locks and tags; Identify opportunities to standardize high-risk activities performed by maintenance/operations (AST); Safeguard, maintain, and ensure efficient use of equipment, tools, instruments, and materials; promptly report any abnormalities observed to the immediate supervisor; Adhere to safety rules and procedures, and assume responsibility for employee safety during your shift—guiding staff during work execution, conducting periodic workplace audits, and mitigating identified issues via action plans; Manage the work team by selecting, guiding, training, monitoring performance, evaluating results, providing feedback, communicating company procedures/norms, ensuring compliance with work processes and implemented management systems, and engaging in broader people management matters; Perform other duties related to this position and to your work processes as required. 2512120202501860811
