Industrial Company **Position:** Metal Straightener **Number of Vacancies:** 2 **Job Description / Responsibilities:** Performs tasks to remove imperfections from sheets, angles, and/or structural profiles using heat and/or water. Performs correction of steel sheets deformed by welding heat or mechanical effects, using oxy-acetylene torch heat and rapid cooling with water jets. To carry out these tasks, uses a specialized heating torch for straightening, water, chalk, water hose, sledgehammer, wedge, bar, jack, workbench, PPE, etc. Must understand, participate in, and contribute—within the scope of their area of responsibility—to achieving goals and objectives established in the Quality, Safety, Environment, Occupational Health, and Social Responsibility (QSMS) Policy. **Desired Education and Experience:** Incomplete elementary education. Completion of a vocational training course in boiler-making, structural steel assembly, or oxy-fuel cutting/welding. Minimum one year of experience as a Semi-Skilled Metal Straightener in shipbuilding and/or ship repair companies. **Work Mode:** On-site **Neighborhood:** Downtown **City:** Niterói **Working Hours:** Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 1-hour break. **Additional Information:** Proactive; Team-oriented; Willingness to learn; Good interpersonal skills; Resident of Niterói, São Gonçalo, Maricá, or neighboring cities.
