Join this team! **COME TRANSFORM LIVES—INCLUDING YOUR OWN.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key challenges for the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR I – TOPICS IN BIG DATA USING PYTHON / MOBILE DEVICE PROGRAMMING FOR ANDROID – ALCÂNTARA role include:** * Serving as the primary agent in implementing our educational institutions’ pedagogical proposals, facilitating the learning process, fully delivering the course syllabus, teaching the scheduled number of classes, and continuously stimulating students’ interest in study, reflection, and the pursuit of new knowledge; * Appropriately utilizing available teaching materials and encouraging students’ use of bibliographic resources for the subject—e.g., books and journals available in the library—to foster critical and reflective learning; * Meeting deadlines established in the academic calendar and fulfilling requests from the respective course coordinator; * Recording, via electronic gradebook, student attendance, class content, academic activity results, and other information related to curricular components, within the timeframe defined in the academic calendar; * Contributing to ENADE preparation activities; * Advising students on their final course projects; * Employing active learning methodologies and flipped classroom approaches when delivering classes. **Requirements and Qualifications** **We seek professionals with:** * Academic qualification: **MASTER’S DEGREE**; * Required undergraduate degree/specialization: **COMPUTER SCIENCE**; * Strong communication skills, ability to relate to students, adaptability, and flexibility; * Up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge relevant to the subject matter; * Proficiency in Microsoft Teams; * An updated Lattes curriculum is mandatory; candidates without one will be disqualified.
