Description: Metal Structure Painter, also known as Industrial Painter, who performs surface preparation and painting of metallic surfaces using various techniques and equipment to ensure structure quality and protection, in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities and Duties Plan painting work by assessing the condition of the surface to be treated, thereby determining the required process and materials. Clean the entire surface by brushing, sanding, and removing previous paint layers using sandpaper, scrapers, acid application, or solvents, to prepare it for protective substances and/or paint. Apply protective primers to metal, wood, and/or masonry surfaces, sand and touch up existing defects to achieve surface leveling and ensure better paint adhesion. Prepare paints by mixing pigments, drying oils, thinners, driers, colorants, and other substances in the required quantities to obtain mixtures suitable for specified color and quality.
