Support architecture discussions and best practices **Job Description** The Mid-level Backend Developer will play an essential role in maintaining and evolving Seguralta's core services. The priority is to develop and maintain critical APIs and integrations with insurance companies, ensuring scalability, security, and performance in systems supporting the national operations of the network. **Responsibilities and Duties** ● Participate in the full development lifecycle: conception, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance ● Design and evolve REST APIs in Python (FastAPI/Django) ● Implement and monitor integrations with third-party systems (insurance company portals, CRMs) ● Ensure code quality through automated tests (unit, integration, E2E) ● Work with serverless architecture and microservices on AWS ● Support architecture discussions and best practices alongside the Tech Lead and other developers ● Monitor and optimize production services, responding to incidents when necessary **Requirements and Qualifications** ● Solid backend experience, preferably with Python ● Experience developing and maintaining scalable and secure APIs ● Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases ● Practical experience with AWS (Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, SNS, SQS) ● Familiarity with automated testing best practices and version control using Git ● Strong analytical ability to resolve complex production issues ● Collaborative mindset and results-oriented approach **Desired Qualifications** *These are advantages:* ● Experience integrating with insurance company APIs, banking APIs, or CRMs ● Knowledge of messaging systems (SNS/SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka) ● Experience with mission-critical or regulated systems (insurance, fintech, healthcare) ● Experience operating serverless and microservices environments in production Employment Type: Full-time CLT Compensation: R$6.000,00 - R$8.000,00 per month Benefits: * Health insurance * Dental insurance * Fuel allowance * Life insurance * Meal voucher
