Our commitment is to deliver scalable, customized solutions that make a difference in people’s lives. ### **About the position:** You will be responsible for the development, evolution, and maintenance of **academic systems** used by a fully online university, including platforms for **academic management, enrollment, finance, integration with LMS, student portals, and faculty portals**, as well as continuous improvements in performance, scalability, and security. These are critical systems handling large numbers of concurrent users, requiring high stability, robust data governance, and compliance with educational regulations. ### **Your day-to-day responsibilities:** * Develop and evolve **back-end applications in Node.js**. * Build rich, scalable user interfaces using **Angular**. * Design, maintain, and optimize **MongoDB** databases. * Create and consume RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs. * Integrate academic systems with LMS, ERPs, and external services. * Ensure best practices in architecture, security, and performance. * Participate in technical decisions and define development standards. * Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability. * Support less experienced developers on the team. * Collaborate closely with Product, UX, and business stakeholders. * Work in high-availability environments with heavy traffic volumes. ### **Requirements and qualifications:** * Solid experience as a **Senior Full Stack Developer**. * Strong proficiency in **Node.js** for back-end development. * Advanced hands-on experience with **Angular** (modern versions). * Practical experience with **MongoDB**, including modeling and performance optimization. * Experience developing **REST APIs**. * Knowledge of application authentication, authorization, and security. * Experience with version control (Git). * Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban). * Ability to work on critical, large-scale systems. ### **Not mandatory but valued:** * Prior experience with **educational, academic, or LMS systems**. * Knowledge of **microservices architecture**. * Experience with **Docker** and containerized environments. * Experience with **cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)**. * Experience with automated testing. * Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar). * Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices. ### **What we offer:** * PJ contract and 100% remote work * TotalPass * An autonomous environment focused on results and continuous learning * Meaningful projects with real technological and innovative challenges Opportunity to work with cloud, generative AI, and modern architecture; incentives for certifications (e.g., AWS) and career development * ### **What it’s like to work at Skopia?** Results, creativity, pragmatism, and commitment are the pillars guiding our culture.
