We seek a professional responsible for protecting and ensuring information security, implementing and maintaining security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing threats, investigating security incidents, and developing strategies to mitigate risks. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Ensure implementation of measures that guarantee and protect information security through actions and mechanisms that minimize risks of data leaks and unauthorized disclosures to an acceptable level under applicable laws and regulations, thereby maximizing information security while ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. * Support administration of the information security training program by applying learning methods designed to equip employees with information security awareness, ensuring all staff perform their duties applying fundamental information security principles. * Conduct vulnerability testing, listing all system weaknesses identified and their respective risk levels through comprehensive and systematic reviews to detect any vulnerabilities that could expose the business to cyberattacks or hacker attempts. * Analyze information security and/or data breaches using root-cause analysis methodologies and techniques to mitigate security incidents involving data. * Periodically conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patterns and risks related to data leaks, intrusions, and other issues that may jeopardize the business, via audits and risk evaluations to determine actual improvement needs. * Develop information security policies, procedures, and workflows by defining parameters, guidelines, or directives aligned with the core pillars of information security (Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability) to protect sensitive data and information against unauthorized access, cyberattacks, and other threats. * Document the implementation of knowledge developed during support activities by presenting information objectively, categorically, and visually to foster shared, transparent understanding of technology resource usage. * Perform other related and inherent professional duties as required by departmental needs and demands, whenever necessary—through training, professional qualification, and guidance from immediate supervisors—to ensure continuous professional development as a learning opportunity aligned with departmental requirements. * Actively contribute to developing performance indicators (KPIs), objectives and key results (OKRs), and new company initiatives. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree completed in Information Security, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields * Postgraduate degree / Specialization in Information Security * Advanced English proficiency * Knowledge of security frameworks ISO/IEC 27000 and NIST, and operating systems Windows, Linux, and macOS * Proficiency with information security event monitoring tools * Customer focus, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, strategic and business acumen, technical leadership, and organizational skills **Additional Information** * Health and dental insurance * Life insurance * Meal and/or food allowance * Transportation allowance * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Wellz * Wellhub * Day off * Apoio Pass for you and your dependents * Discounts on personal insurance contracts—including auto, life, home, travel, and others. **Here, you define the pace of your growth and the scale of your achievements.** MDS is one of the leading insurance brokerage firms in Brazil, specializing in insurance, reinsurance, benefits management, and risk consulting.
