Maintain an up-to-date price database in accordance with market conditions An engineering and construction management company seeks a Budget Engineer in Taboão da Serra. **Responsibilities:** Prepare civil construction and building installation budgets. Perform quantity takeoffs from project drawings, descriptive memoranda, and technical scopes. Analyze civil, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, HVAC, fire prevention and suppression, and other complementary discipline projects. Develop direct and indirect cost compositions, considering BDI (Administrative Expenses and Profit), social charges, and labor laws. Obtain quotations from suppliers and contractors, negotiating delivery schedules and commercial terms. Evaluate technical and commercial proposals. Support risk analysis, assumptions, exclusions, and commercial conditions of budgets. Prepare budget spreadsheets, technical and commercial proposals. Maintain an up-to-date price database in accordance with market practices and values. Previous experience as a Cost Engineer, Budget Analyst, Budget Planning Specialist, or Project Engineer may indicate alignment with some of the responsibilities of this position. Bachelor's degree required.
