




Job Summary: A professional responsible for developing and reviewing technical drawings, performing complex calculations, and preparing specifications for pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with applicable standards. Technical support during manufacturing, assembly, and inspection of equipment **Design Engineer** **Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM, Monday to Friday** **Benefits:** Medical and dental plan \- Transportation allowance (VT) \- Pharmacy plan \- Life insurance \- Basic food basket \- On-site meals Salary range: R$ 5\.200,00 **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop and review technical drawings for pressure vessels (dimensional, sectional, assembly, welding, etc.); * Perform thickness, design pressure, stress, and service life calculations in accordance with ASME Section VIII Division 1 and/or 2, TEMA, API, and other relevant codes; * Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement and manufacturing; * Verify project compliance with NR\-13 and other applicable standards; * Provide technical support and supervision during equipment manufacturing, assembly, and inspection; * Collaborate with mechanical engineers, designers, suppliers, and clients to define technical scope; * Use software tools (AutoCAD, ZWCAD, Inventor, etc.) and calculation software such as Compress or similar; * Participate in technical analyses, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Education:** * Mechanical Technician, Mechanical Design Technician, or Mechanical Engineering degree (a bachelor’s degree is preferred); * **Requirements:** * Basic proficiency in Inventor; * Familiarity with ASME and TEMA standards + Knowledge of pressure vessels and heat exchangers * Familiarity with refrigeration equipment such as condensers, evaporators, suction accumulators, and liquid tanks Minimum Education Level: Technical Course
