Job Summary: A professional responsible for developing and reviewing technical drawings, performing complex calculations, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, and providing technical support for pressure vessel projects. Key Highlights: 1. Development and review of technical drawings for pressure vessels 2. Performing complex calculations in accordance with standards (ASME, TEMA, API) 3. Providing technical support throughout all stages of project design and manufacturing **Design Engineer** **Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 5:18 PM, Monday to Friday** **Benefits:** Medical and dental insurance \- Transportation allowance (VT) \- Pharmacy benefit \- Life insurance – Basic food basket – On-site meals Salary range: R$ 5\.200,00 **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop and review technical drawings for pressure vessels (dimensional, sectional, assembly, welding, etc.); * Perform thickness, design pressure, stress, and service life calculations according to ASME Section VIII Division 1 and/or 2, TEMA, API, and other applicable codes; * Prepare bills of materials (BOM) and technical specifications for procurement and manufacturing; * Validate designs for compliance with NR\-13 and other applicable regulations; * Monitor and provide technical support during equipment manufacturing, assembly, and inspection; * Collaborate with mechanical engineers, designers, suppliers, and clients to define technical scope; * Use CAD software (AutoCAD, ZWCAD, Inventor, etc.) and calculation software such as Compress or similar tools; * Participate in technical analyses, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. **Qualifications:** * Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Mechanical Engineering (a bachelor’s degree is preferred); * **Requirements:** * Basic proficiency in Inventor; * Familiarity with ASME and TEMA standards + Knowledge of pressure vessels and heat exchangers * Familiarity with refrigeration equipment such as condensers, evaporators, suction accumulators, and liquid receivers Minimum Educational Requirement: Technical Diploma
