Job Summary: We are seeking a mainframe specialist with expertise in CICS and Storage for diagnosing critical incidents, performance tuning, and large-scale capacity management in high-volume environments. We seek a specialist professional experienced in mainframe environments, combining expertise in CICS and Storage, along with strong diagnostic skills, handling of critical incidents, performance tuning, and capacity management in large-scale environments. **Key Responsibilities:** --------------------------------- — Administration and evolution of the CICS Transaction Server environment — Advanced troubleshooting (dumps, traces, abends, and complex incidents) — Performance tuning (response time, waits, integration with Db2\) — Handling systemic contention and degradation scenarios — Support for CICS architecture (clones, load balancing, regions) — Integration with Db2, MQ, and distributed environments (APIs/CTG) — Management and tuning of storage environments (DASD and Tape) — Administration of DFSMS (SMS, ACS routines) — HSM management (migration, recall, policies) — Volume, dataset, and storage group management — Storage capacity planning — I/O performance and contention troubleshooting — Handling of critical incidents and war rooms — Participation in disaster recovery and cross-site replication scenarios — Ensuring stability, performance, and resilience of environments — Supporting architecture and evolution of mission-critical environments **Technical Requirements:** ------------------------ — Extensive experience with CICS TS (installation, support, and advanced tuning) — Solid high-level troubleshooting experience (dumps, abends, in-depth analysis) — Knowledge of Db2 integration (locks, contention, performance) — Experience with VSAM in CICS environments — Proficiency in JCL, TSO/ISPF — Extensive experience with DFSMS (SMS, ACS routines) — Solid HSM experience — Knowledge of IBM storage architecture (DASD) — Experience in storage capacity and performance management — Experience in mission-critical environments (preferably banking) — Advanced analytical capability and ability to perform under pressure **Preferred Qualifications:** --------------------- — Experience with Parallel Sysplex — Experience with distributed integration (APIs, middleware, CTG) — Experience with GDPS and replication (PPRC, Metro/Global Mirror) — Knowledge of enterprise tape environments (virtual/physical) — Experience with IBM DS8K storage controllers — Experience in high-volume transactional environments **General Information** ---------------------- — Location: Interlagos – São Paulo/SP — Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). — Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM — Employment Type: CLT.
