Then join us and **COCREATE** as part of our team as a **Researcher III!** **What will your day\-to\-day challenges be:** * Collect, clean, process, and perform exploratory analysis on large volumes of data; * Design, train, and validate statistical models, machine learning models, graph neural networks (GNNs), and other deep learning models for fraud detection; * Evaluate model performance using statistical metrics, identifying and correcting issues such as overfitting, underfitting, and algorithmic bias; * Apply sampling techniques, hypothesis testing, and statistical inference to support data\-driven decisions; * Document methodologies, experiments, results, and insights clearly and systematically; * Track cutting\-edge trends and research in applied statistics, machine learning, and data science; * Participate in technical and alignment meetings with development and business teams; * Drive continuous model improvement, including updates, recalibration, and performance monitoring; * Use machine learning frameworks such as Scikit\-learn and statistical analysis tools; * Collaborate with product teams and compliance/fraud specialists to translate typologies (fraud, AML, sanctions) into modeling problems; * Conduct applied research experiments, prototypes, and PoCs with new model architectures (including GNNs) and document outcomes. **We are looking for someone with:** * Completed undergraduate degree in IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields; * Solid knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence fundamentals; * Strong foundation in statistics and probability (linear models, regression, time series, classification, clustering); * Experience handling and analyzing structured data (Pandas, SQL, or similar tools); * Python programming and proficiency with its main libraries (NumPy, SciPy, Scikit\-learn, Statsmodels, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn); * Familiarity with the CRISP\-DM methodology. **It would be great if you also have:** * Experience in predictive modeling applied to finance, risk, and anomaly detection; * Knowledge of time series and econometric models; * Familiarity with MLOps (MLFlow, Kubeflow, Airflow or similar); * Basic understanding of cloud computing (AWS, Azure or GCP); * Knowledge of AI ethics and bias concepts; * Experience with code versioning (Git); * Basic BI (Business Intelligence) knowledge; * Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban). **CPQD offers:** * Daycare or babysitter allowance; * Unimed health insurance; * Uniodonto dental insurance; * Vidalink medication allowance; * Meal/voucher card; * Life insurance; * Pet health plan; * Vacation bonus above market standard; * Private pension plan; * WellHub; * Commuter shuttle service; * Free parking; * Payroll\-deducted loans; * Birthday day\-off; * Holiday bridging days; * Citizen company: extended maternity and paternity leave; * Postgraduate support program; * Partnerships and agreements: facilitating options in health, leisure, culture, and education; * Internal programs: focused on development and wellbeing.
