JUNIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYST

Description

**Mission** ---------- Carry out activities related to the environmental area, aiming to ensure conditions that eliminate or minimize environmental impacts, while complying with all applicable legislation. **Your responsibilities** ------------------------ Manage waste. Manage Green Areas (Permanent Preservation Areas - PPAs) and Legal Reserves (LRs). Regularize controlled burns according to phytosanitary control regulations. Support certified farms or those undergoing new certification processes regarding environmental items, ensuring compliance with required standards. Ensure farms uphold sustainability principles—including monitoring customer audits and reporting environmental data for reports. Conduct and monitor water quality analyses provided to agricultural employees to ensure compliance with legal quality standards. Prepare environmental diagnostics for farms to assess environmental compliance indices and implement corrective measures when necessary. Train farm teams on rural property environmental compliance with current legislation. Regularize licensing for possession and use of chainsaws within farms (used in agricultural activities). Ensure fuel station regulation at farms in accordance with current legislation. Monitor and evaluate services contracted by the environmental department. Manage environmental indicators and report corporately per departmental guidelines. Keep the legal compliance tool updated, identifying gaps and alerting the organization. Carry out or promote socio-environmental initiatives jointly with the SSMA team. Provide support and assistance to farms and partners regarding environmental questions or actions. **Profile we seek** ----------------------- * Proficiency in Power BI (including dashboard creation, reporting, and data analysis) and advanced Excel; * Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data, identifying opportunities, and generating insights to support decision-making; * Ability to prepare management reports, track indicators, and present results effectively. * Basic knowledge of environmental legislation; * Strong communication skills, proactivity, and teamwork ability; * Willingness to perform fieldwork and undertake occasional travel; **Prerequisites** ------------------ * Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering; * Experience—even internship experience—in environmental area activities (preferred); * Microsoft Office 365 suite; * Valid Class B driver’s license; * Residence in Nova Europa/SP
